Caesy Oney is a multidisciplinary creative and designer residing in Portland, Oregon and Los Angeles, California with nearly 15 years (yikes) of experience in the industry. He established the NPP LLC brand as a catchall—creative-matrix of original art and design objects for sale, art direction and photography archive, and contact point for prototyping and design services for clients. From full package design/build projects, to surgical problem solving on a tight timeline, there is no part of product production that lives outside of in-house capabilities or that cannot be solved within his network of reliable vendors and resources.
In 2010, he founded (the now decommissioned) Draught Dry Goods, a handmade bag and accessories company that was sold in 75+ shops worldwide.
He spent a few years in the Nike Innovation Kitchen as a Concept Creator rapid prototyping sneakers, bags and accessories by hand for the Converse Innovation team (in addition to general rabble rousing).
He is the Creative Director and co-founder of LAST HEAVY, a full cut-and-sew apparel line established in 2016.
His work has been published in various books, magazines and websites but he insists that it would be tacky and cringy to list them all out. A dredging of the deep web would shake out most of those moments if you are genuinely interested…but it proves nothing other than he’s been quoted saying things like:
“when I see kids lining up in front of a sneaker store…it makes me sad that they are not spending their money on something meaningful, like drugs or girlfriends.”

The majority of his work in the past several years remains undisclosed and under the proverbial rug as a result of bulletproof NDAs - but the projects range broadly, from high-level brand and strategy development to hand prototyping sneakers from scratch using only things that he could steal off the desktops of coworkers in the Nike Innovation offices.’
